ELIGIBILITY AND CRITERIA :
For the 50% Management Quota, there are [15 seats (open to all) plus 05 seats for dependents of on-roll BSL employees] employees.
(i) The applicant must have passed the J.C.E.C.E.B.’s (the state of Jharkhand) GNM Nursing Nursing Admission Entrance Competitive Examination, which was held on August 13, 2023.
(ii) As of December 31, 2023, the minimum and maximum ages for entry will be 17 and 35, respectively. ANM/LHV has no age restriction.
(iii) The bare minimum of education is 10+2 with English and a minimum score of 40% on both the qualifying exam and the English component separately for any reputable board. Candidates may also apply through the National Institute of Open School (NIOS), which is approved by the Central Government, and the State Open School, which is authorized by the State Government. Science, however, is preferred.40% of students who took the vocational ANM program at an institution accredited by the Indian Nursing Council had a 10+2 with English.
A 10+2 degree with English and a minimum of 40% in the Vocational Stream in Health Sciences from an accredited CBSE board or center.
ANM with registration and passing grades.
(iv) The student must be in good health.
(v) Students who received 40% or above on the national Institute of Open School’s 10+2 Arts or Science exam in the health care science vocational stream ONLY.
(vi) Qualification Dependents of on-roll BSL employees must meet the requirements listed above, including (i), (ii), (iii), (iv), and (v).
Note:-Other applicants who have filed for admission in GNM at the School of Nursing, Bokaro General Hospital and are eligible as per the merit list established for GNM admission will be taken into consideration if seats designated for dependents of BSL employees remain vacant.
Fees Structures:
a) Admission Fee: Rs. 6,000/-(Rupees Six thousand only) at the time of admission.
b) Caution Money : Rs.3,000/-(Rupees Three thousand only) at the time of admission (Refundable only
aftersuccessful completion of course)
c) Development Fee:Rs.5,000/-(Rupeesfive thousand only) – one time.
d) Tuition Fees: Rs.12,000/- (Rupees Twelve thousand only) per annum.
The student will not be permitted to take the Council examination if tuition is not paid in full.
The delay up to a maximum of six months may, at the sole discretion of the school administration, be excused after payment of a fine of Rs. 50 for each month the delay exceeds the due date.
If the delay lasts longer than six months, the pupils won’t be allowed to continue their education. All of the aforementioned payments must be paid in full using a DD or local banker’s check made payable to SAIL, BSL, Bokaro Steel City.

STIPEND DETAILS:
The GNM trainee student will get a stipend of Rs. 2,000 per month for the first, second, and third years of Part I (six months) and Rs. 5000 per month for the internship (third year Part II) for six months.
